Qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting and Economics in 1986. Over 40 years of experience within various business sectors including, Manufacturing, Retail, Education and Agriculture.

My employment history and experience has predominantly been in the financial sector of companies, wherein I was responsible for the preparation of Annual Financial Statements for auditors, Management Accounts, VAT returns, System controls, IT systems and the development of reports, budgets and forecasts, Payroll, Supply chain and general management.

Companies that I have worked for include the University of Cape Town, South African Breweries, Wardkiss Hardware – Group Financial Manager (15 Retail Outlets and 3 regional offices) , Durban Clothing – Financial Accountant (Pierre Cardin), Steiner Services – Financial Manager (Bidvest Group), Metallica Chemicals – Managing Director, Compuserv, Sole Proprietor, (Computer business) 2005 to 2019.
